Preface:

If I could choose from anything to give you something, I would undoubtedly choose the reactivation of your primaeval age. So based on this, you could synchronise your biological clock. Because living according to the Mayan Tun Uc Solarmoonyear means being the boss of your own thoughts and this is accomplished through your feelings.

Introduction:

What are the origins of the 13 Moon calendar in Mayan culture? The Thirteen Moon calendar was originally known by the Mayan as the Tun Uc the year of the Moon or Moon count. The correlation date on the Gregorian calendar is July 25. And 25 of July is a holiday in Mayan culture (we call Day Out of Time). Because of all the different Newyear-celebrations, there is only one Cosmic Newyear. Like a compass is calibrated on the North, our Sun converges with the star Sirius in the East once a year. For us on earth, it is the only conjunction (union) that occurs annually. The Mayan call this day ‘Day Out of Time’. It is a day from the Mayan Tun Uc Solar moon year and it is always on the 25th of July of the Gregorian world-standard-calendar.

Amsterdam 13/05/2010:

After the next union on 25/07/2010 with our Sun and her big sister Sirius, we arrive in the Mayan Tun Uc year 25913. The next ‘Day Out of Time’ will be 25/07/2011, in the Mayan year 25914. And on 25/07/2012 the last year of the 25915 cycle will end. And after 26/07/2013 that day, the numeration of the Tun Uc starts again in the year 0, and that cycle again lasts for about 26000 years, or 5 cycles of 5200 years (mention as Mayan long count).

So the Tun Uc cycle starts and ends at the union of our Sun and her big sister Sirius. That is why we may declare this calendar as Sun-Year. But the name Tun Uc literally means ‘Year of the Moon’, therefore it also includes all 13 moons. More than that, before cultures and different religions and philosophies moulded the laws of time through means of creating unnatural calendars, The Tun Uc calendar was the basic model for all life on earth. Everybody, at one point, was born under this calendar because it is older than all other calendars joined together.... minimum of one cycle of 26000 years (one Mayan long count). It just disappeared from the spotlights, around the 16th century, and that’s why we lost sight of this natural Mayan calendar.

First some background information about the primitive people and their eras:

One of the few remains of the Mayan are their calendars. We may consider ourselves lucky, that their wisdom and underlying knowledge was kept in the hieroglyphics on the Mayan pyramids. Because after the subversion of their culture by Spanish looters, around the 16th century, directly followed by the invasion of the Vatican, their philosophy went up in smoke. It was also strictly forbidden to pass this Mayan knowledge from Father to Son.

One of the Mayan calendar is based on the Solar-year of 365 days and is intended for everyone that has something to do with the seasons and all that is related to that (like sowing and harvesting).

This Mayan Tun Uc has thirteen months of 28 days, with one full moon a month. Moon is synonymous with tone (see illustration below).

Every month has 4 weeks and every week has 7 days, and than you get a:

The days of the week are indicated with the seven colors of the rainbow. The first day of the week starts with red, the second day is orange, the third day is yellow, the fourth day is green, the fifth day is blue, the sixth day is indigo blue and the seventh day is violet. The date of your birth is now indicated by month, day and year but than it was indicated with the Toon, Kin and Mayan year number. The Tun Uc new years eve is in the Gregorian calendar on the 25th of July(that is the day out of time). And on the 26th of July the new Solar-Lunar year of the Mayan Tun Uc starts all over again. We can use the Tun Uc cycle on two ways. First to set appointments with week and color number for in your agenda. Second to save your date of birth with Toon number, Kin number and Mayan year number by which you can read your Mayan Constellation.

Rainbow behind the Mayan ruins at Chichén Itzá...

...miraculous! The pyramid of Chichén Itzá with its 364 steps and its large plateau which counted as the 365th step. Which is equal to the days of the Tun Uc SolarMoonyear. The pyramid was one of the most important buildings ever used for astronomy and/or astrology as a space observatory.

These 13 zodiac Signs are based on illustrations from the Paris Mayan Codex. This gives a big contribution for the fundamentals to understand our old and truthful Zodiac sign. A Sign is a collection of stars which apparently formed a figure like the Mayan scientists, who have drawn hydrographic script by connecting lines from their pyramids to the stars and the sky. The signs are constellations like the old Mayan knew centuries before and of which we can still read our Mayan horoscopes signs. These thirteen Mayan characters all have their own characteristics and personality traits.

"Widely interpreted they tell something about the corresponding strength of birth"

A bolt of spiritual energy appears in a spiral out of the great mystery of Hunab K’u
As pure life energy the creative energy can only be understood by people who are opened up for it.
Because like a film of one photo camera, which is admissible for light,
A human being in balance receives exactly what there is to receive.

Find your Mayan date of birth:

Were you born in the Gregorian calendar before 07/25/2010 then your Mayan year of birth is 25912. After 07/25/2010 your Mata year of birth is 25913. For example someone who is 52 years old now and his birthday is on 03/03/2010, you must subtract 52 years of the Mata year 25912. Then his new date of birth is Toon 8 in Kin 221 with birth year 25860. You must always check if your birthday is Before or After The Day Out Of Time (July 25).

As above so below:

A more logical and recognizable calendar doesn’t exist in the world. There aren’t even intercalary days because we assume that the sun rises in the east and moves from the south to the west and goes down there. But the Mayan always knew that the Earth turns around leftwards and that makes it appear that the sun moved around rightwards. The Tun Uc is not calculates from Earth but from the Cosmos. It seems like the Mayan could view the milky way (Hunab K’u) from above. By that their calendar was made and that is why they didn’t need intercalary days to make a Solaryear. (also see MENU MAYAN EXPERTS: Johan van der Beek). Even people who have a reading disorder can handle it because the calendar consists of numbers only. Now let it be a coincidence that all different spoken languages in the entire world use the same symbols for numbers apart from their different written language.

A number (figure) is the highest form of language:

For humanity the numbers are mostly important in geometry so we can compare all sorts of things. Things like weights, dimensions and distances to go somewhere or to find out how far we still have to go and how far we’ve already come. Where we’re from and where we’re going. The language of numbers teaches us if there is balance and harmony. But the most important is to know in which year we’re living and how long a certain cycle from a calendar is going to take.

To the question where to start?:

I would suggest everyone to print the beautiful colors poster of the Tun Uc SolarMoonyear and hang it somewhere where it’s visible for you. So daily you are able to take a look at which Mayan day we’re in now.

Besides this Mayan Tun Uc SolarMoonyear:

The Mayan worked also whit a ritual calendar of 260 days which is called the Tzolkin and used it for spiritual goals. The Tzolkin is for the Thinking and the Tun Uc for Feeling!

Interesting fact:

As result out of a scientifically research has proved that the brain of a man and woman are strongly different. The man has a more evaluated left hemisphere and the woman has a more evaluated right hemisphere. Also concerning the center of Figures and Language is completely different. The right hemisphere is also named the Female side, and the left hemisphere is named the Male side. The left hemisphere has more to do with thinking, Language and communication. In the left hemisphere is also the site of the I; the Ego! While the right hemisphere is close with the feeling, number, figures and in contact with the body and the subconscious being. Also the feeling of beauty is in the right hemisphere. It’s a fact that the Mayan Tun Uc SolarMoonyear consists only of number entirely. So we could say that it has been brought into life by the women by which they don’t tell us anything new but pointed us at something that has always existed. By doing this they’ve put it back in the Spotlight… as a gift for everyone!
